Preschool News

Welcome to our new friend Max, and Rowan from the toddler room!

During the month of April we will be continuing our investigation of books. During the first week of the month we will be focusing on who uses books, and how books are used.

We invite all of the preschoolers to bring in a book to share with the class; we will read them together during group time.

In the second half of the month we will learn about the job authors and illustrators do. We will focus on rhyme and alliteration and read works by Dr. Suess, Mercer Mayer, and Mo Williams. We will look at the illustrations of Leo Leonni, Marcus Pfister, and Eric Carle and try making some illustrations of our own.

Please remember to bring a change of shoes and layers for variety of weather and outdoor play.
